St. Clare Health Center Emergency Services are available 24 hours a day to treat patients of all ages. Patients with life-threatening situations are seen within 30 seconds, and most other patients are seen within 30 minutes of their arrival. At St. Clare, there is separate diagnostic equipment dedicated to Emergency Services to minimize wait times. Lounge areas for waiting family members are conveniently located within the patient care area.

Our staff is supported by one of the best cardiology departments in the region, and is able to handle virtually any type of cardiac emergency. With any life-threatening condition, our staff works as a team to stabilize the patient and bring together an appropriate team of experts. With our advanced cardiac catheterization lab, professional surgery and critical care staff, along with some of the area’s top cardiac physicians, we are prepared to handle heart problems of any type.

Pediatric Emergency Care
Pediatric emergency specialists from SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center are on-site 24/7 at St. Clare Health Center. Cardinal Glennon pediatricians support our emergency staff, providing a special brand of children’s health care known as Glennon Care for Kids. From fractures and cuts to head injuries and respiratory problems, St. Clare Health Center offers special expertise in pediatric emergency care that’s close to home.
